Further development of Grads in Games project. Despite it being submitted, I really enjoyed working on this piece and wanted to push it further after receiving some great feedback on areas to improve. As such, I tweaked the values of certain materials, further developed the lighting and post-processing and lowered the poly count on the assets.
Each material was self-authored in Substance Painter (excluding wooden floorboards and plaster walls which were created in Substance Designer). Final renders were produced in UE5. This was exciting as it allowed me to advance skills in creating my own materials. This project was great fun and I’m glad I had the opportunity to partake in the Grads in Games challenge Searching for a Star.
